Denver Health appoints two Associate Chief Nursing OfficersPublished 12/3/2010

Denver Health has named Seleem Choudhury, RN, MA, and Joe Gerardi, RN, MHA, as Associate Chief Nursing Officers (ACNO).
Choudhury will serve as ACNO for Critical Care, the Emergency Department and Float Pool.  He will manage the medical and intensive care units and the emergency department, which includes the Denver Emergency Center for Children.  Choudhury has extensive experience working in Level I Trauma Centers including the University of Virginia Medical Center and UCLA Trauma Center.
Gerardi was promoted to ACNO for Acute Care Nursing and Wound Care.  He will manage all inpatient care in the hospital, including seven medical/surgical units with more than 300 staff.  Gerardi was previously operations manager of the Denver Health Center for Occupational Safety and Health and program manager for the surgical specialty clinics, including orthopedics, surgery and the ENT clinic.  He has 25 years experience.
