St. Anthony North offers community education classPublished 5/13/2008

St. Anthony North Hospital, 2551 West 84th Avenue in Westminster, Colorado is offering a community education class May 20.

Introducing Your Dog to Your New Baby – For many parents, their first "kids" were pets.

Now that a baby is in the future, it is important that dog-owning prospective parents help their dog adapt to this new addition and create a safe environment for both the dog and the baby.

Good relationships between children and pets do not just happen; they must be actively created and nurtured, beginning even before the very first meeting between the two. This class is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, 2008 in the Main Conference Room.

You may register for these classes by calling St. Anthony North Hospital ASK-A-NURSE at 303-777-6877. Materials fee for both presentations is $15.

St. Anthony North Hospital is part of Centura Health which operates 12 hospitals, eight senior residences, medical clinics and home care and hospice services across Colorado.
