"Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer are big. We always give the kids the stickers after their appointment – it’s almost like a bribe."

"I just give them any sticker they want — I don’t argue with them."

"I give them the page of stickers with all the different things on it, like mountains, cars and houses. That way the stickers are interactive and promote creativity."

"The stickers work really well with the kids. "Most people like to get something when they go to the doctor’s office, so even if we inflict pain with a shot they walk out of here smilin’. When we give them shots, we always tell them we’re giving them ‘shots of love.’ "
