UCDHSC dedicates Wolf recovery house

The Lori Wolf House, a new resource center whose core mission will be to support patients recovering from alcohol and drug dependencies, was recently dedicated at University of Colorado Hospital’s Center for Dependency and Addiction Rehabilitation (CeDAR).



TMCA first to offer SANE program

The Medical Center of Aurora (TMCA) recently announced that it is now an official provider of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) and the first hospital in the Eastern Metro area to provide this service.

CDC releases smoking report

ANA files lawsuit against HHS, cites law violations

The American Nurses Association (ANA), the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) and the Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA) has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to remedy violations of law that require minimum standards for participation in the federal Medicare program.



CDC releases HIV test evaluation results

CDC's rapid HIV test distribution program identified 4,650 HIV infections among over 370,000 rapid tests administered, according to the results of an evaluation of the program's impact between September 2003 and December 2005.



ANA purchases OJIN from Kent State University
