Children’s Hospital forms partnership

The Children’s Hospital, Denver, and Memorial Health System, Colorado Springs, has announced the formation of a partnership to manage jointly the new Memorial Hospital for Children in a shared effort to provide world-class neonatal and pediatric services to children in Colorado Springs and southern Colorado.

Colorado receives “C+” on overall health of residents

According to the Colorado Health Report Card, a study released recently by The Colorado Health Foundation, the state receives a "C+" grade for the overall health of its residents.

Exempla hosts hospice open house

After a year of construction, the new Collier Hospice Center at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center (ELMC) will open its doors to patients on July 18th. Collier is Colorado’s only free-standing hospice facility designed specifically for hospice care. The new hospice is poised to meet the end-of-life service needs of the seven-county metro area.
