St. Anthony Summit Medical Center Hosts Job Fair for

On Friday, September 17, 2010, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center will host a "Ski Into the Season" job fair to recruit seasonal health care professionals to work in our hospital and emergency mountain clinics located in Keystone, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain. The job fair will be held in the classrooms at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center. All clinical professionals looking for an exciting, seasonal career opportunity should plan to attend this event. Positions typically start in November or December and end in April.



Two radiation oncologists join Banner Health in northern Colorado

Two new radiation oncologists have joined Banner Health to provide cancer care services for patients in northern Colorado. Drs. Brian Fuller and Elizabeth Ceilley will begin seeing patients in October at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley and the new David Walsh Cancer Center at Sterling Regional MedCenter in Sterling. The David Walsh Cancer Center will open Sept. 9.

Registered Nurses Win Victories in Washington State for Patient Safety

Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA), representing more than 16,000 registered nurses in Washington State, has won two landmark decisions for patient safety on the issue of missed breaks for registered nurses. Cases decided in Seattle and Spokane both affirm the employer’s responsibility to provide uninterrupted rest breaks to nurses.
