Teen birth tates drop after two year increase

The teen birth rate in the United States fell 2 percent between 2007 and 2008, after rising the previous two years, according to a report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics.



Adam’s State College DON brings meaning to nursing

Dr. Aida Sahud is the director of nursing at Adams State College in Alamosa and helped develop a four-year BSN program to bring a more meaningful and advanced education to nursing students in the San Luis Valley. Sahud said the program meets a critical need for the rural area of southern Colorado.
