Poudre Valley Hospital’s laboratory has started using a state-of-the-art lab automation system - the first Colorado hospital to do so - that will improve patient and employee safety, contain health-care costs and enhance the accuracy and speed of the testing of more than a million blood and bodily fluid specimens processed annually by the lab.

Exempla Lutheran Medical Center (ELMC) has received the American Stroke Association’s Get With the Guidelines-Stroke (GWTG-Stroke) Initial Achievement Award, which recognizes the hospital’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by ensuring that stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted standards and recommendations.
