Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center appoints CMO

Steve B. Lowenthal, M.D., M.P.H. recently was appointed vice president and chief medical officer for Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center. Lowenthal comes to Exempla from St. Agnes Healthcare in Baltimore, Md., where he was executive vice president and CMO. Prior to that, he was senior VP and CMO for Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Ill.
